This recipe comes from Anne-Gro (Njaa) Kluge in Norway.  Anne-Gro is a relative of the Njaa side of this family.  Anne-Gro says, "we have kumla every 14 days, always on a Thursday which is kumleday here in the west of Norway.  For Christmas we have sheepribs - Norwegian "pinnekjøtt" and ribsteak and this is a tradition here in our family."
